Dr. Hegedus holds a medical degree from Hungary's
Medical School of Pécs as well as a PhD in Ultrasound
Diagnostics from Semmelweis Medical University, Budapest, Hungary.
She is the Chairperson of the Radiology Department at North
Pest Hospital (Eszak Pesti Korház) and speaks English
and Hungarian fluently.

Zsuzsa Horvath

Ms.
Horvath has a Lab Assistant's degree from a health care college.
She worked for seven years in labs at Semmelweiss University,
Budapest, Hungary, and at the Veterans Hospital in Budapest
before coming to ACI in 1999.

Hajna Gondor

Nurse
|
Ms.
Gondor trained as a general nurse at a medical secondary school,
had one year of specialized midwife training at SOTE (Medical
University of BP) and completed a newborn resuscitation course.
She has been working in Obstetrics since 1992 and has been at
ACI since 1999. She teaches prenatal/childbirth classes at the
Clinic and has served as midwife for many of our ACI patients.

Nurse

Ms.
Gati trained as a general nurse at a medical secondary school,
had one year specialized training in adult nursing and then
graduated from one of the first college-level RN training programs
in Hungary. While a student she worked in the CCU (cardiac intensive
care unit) and in the nursery. Our newest nurse, she came to
ACI in Oct. 2000.

Dr. Imre Bodo
|
Hematologist and Oncologist
|
Dr. Bodo attended Semmelweis Medical University,
Budapest, Hungary and then spent three years in New York City
shuffling between the Department of Microbiology at Columbia
University and the Department of Medicine at St. Luke's Roosevelt
Hospital. Following his residency at the Department of Internal
Medicine at The Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, North
Carolina, Dr. Bodo completed a fellowship at Washington University
Medical School in St. Louis, Missouri. Dr. Bodo is United States
board certified and has been published in the New England Journal
of Medicine as well as in various other medical journals. Dr.
Bodo is fluent in English, German, Hungarian and functional
in Russian.

Dr. Péter Fuszek

Dr. Fuszek is a graduate of Semmelweis Medical
School, Budapest, Hungary, and is also a member of the Semmelweis
University First Department of Internal Medicine. He speaks

Department of Urology. Dr. Kovács was an American Endurological
fellow and also studied detailed urological procedures in the
United States. He has been published in both foreign and domestic
journals and also speaks English and Hungarian fluently.

Dr. Miklos Kormendy

Dr. Kormendy graduated from Semmelweis University,
Budapest, Hungary. He has completed multiple post graduate course
both abroad and in Hungary. In addition to his private practice,
Dr. Kormendy is also a consultant to the International Peto
